Alert: Georgia Green Party Needs Your Help To Field Senate Candidate
Governor Roy Barnes
has issued his proclamation for the special election to fill the position
vacated by the untimely death of Senator Paul Coverdell. He has set the
qualifying period as this coming Wednesday, August 2nd at 9:00 am through
Friday, August 4th at 12:00 noon.

with over 1,200 Green Party members and supporters, Ralph Nader accepted
the presidential nomination at the Green Party Convention in Denver on
June 25, 2000.
