Campaign
2000:
Open the Debates
The Commission on Presidential Debates, founded and run by the Republican and Democratic
Parties, has refused to allow any third-party candidates to participate in the
Presidential and Vice Presidential debates. Here are some links that will take you to
sites where you can participate in the effort to open the debates.
Sign the Nader Petition
The Nader for President site has a petition that you can sign to show your support for
opening up the proposed presidential and vice-presidential debates to qualified
third-party candidates. Sign the
petition here.
It's Bud Time!
Anheuser-Busch, the makers of Budweiser Beer, is sponsoring the presidential debates.
Go to the Kentucky Green Party
Bud Boycott page to find out how to let them know that you won't drink a Bud until
they open the debates to all qualified candidates.
More Links
Here's another page on the boycott subject with some helpful links.

Media Links
Here's a page of
media links provided by the Domestic Rights Coalition. This is a great list (slightly
outdated) of email addresses for television shows. Contact these organizations
and request/demand that they provide coverage of the debates lockout.
Activist Links
Here's the Debates Activism page of Fairness And Accuracy In Reporting
. It provides a list of links and media coverage of the debates issue.
