Political power is to be based in local
communities where participatory democracy can better assure social justice.
FEMINISM
The ethics of cooperation and nurturing replace the
values of control and domination over others. Feelings are respected as well
as rationalism, the contemplative or inner part of life as activism, and the
means or process as much as the ends.
RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY
We honor the diversity of life on Earth,
and the cultural, sexual, and spiritual diversity of Earth's people.
PERSONAL AND GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY
Personal lifestyles of social and of
ecological responsibility are to be reflected and affirmed in the design of
our global economic and political order.
FUTURE FOCUS
Greens seek a society where the interests of the
seventh generation are considered equal to the interests of the present generation.
